The rule
To say where you are, use I'm in / at / on + place. Choosing the right preposition takes practice, but here are the safe rules:
- in + city, country, enclosed space → in London, in the kitchen, in the car
- at + specific location or event → at home, at work, at the party
- on + transport or street → on the bus, on Oxford Street
