The story

The school fair is in two weeks. Every club can have a stall. “We're going to sell food,” says Mia. “Everybody buys food.” Sam wants to sell hot dogs. Ava wants cupcakes. Leo just wants to eat.
They make a list. For cupcakes, they need some flour, some sugar, some butter and some eggs. For drinks, they need some lemons and some cups. Jo looks in the club kitchen. “We've got some sugar, but we haven't got any eggs. And there isn't any butter.”
Then they count their money. Sam has twelve pounds. Leo has eight. Ava has six, and Mia has four. “Thirty pounds,” says Mia. “We need to buy everything with thirty pounds and make two hundred.” Leo stops eating his biscuit.
