Introduce yourself

Put everything from Episode 1 together. Write your first real introduction in English — then say it out loud.

The task

Using only the patterns from Episode 1, build a short introduction of yourself — 5 sentences. Then read it out loud three times and record yourself on your phone.

Your template

1
Hello! I'm (name).
your first name
2
I'm (age).
not "I have" — always "I'm" in English
3
I'm a/an (job or role).
a teacher · an engineer · a student
4
I'm in/at (place).
in Kyiv · at home · at the office
5
Today I'm (feeling).
happy · tired · excited · a bit nervous

Example

Olha's introduction
Hello! I'm Olha. I'm 34. I'm a marketing manager. I'm at home today. I'm a little tired, but I'm happy. I'm not a beginner anymore — I'm an English student!
Why say it out loud? Your mouth needs to practise the sounds. Hearing yourself speak English — even for 30 seconds — accelerates your progress more than 10 minutes of reading.

Congratulations!

You finished Episode 1. You can already introduce yourself in English — that is a real first step. Episodes 2–7 continue with He is, She is, We are, the present simple, and much more.
